As Rasmussen University has continued to grow over the years, the Bloomington site was opened in 2011 to provide an additional point of access for students across the Twin Cities looking to attend a college in Minnesota. The Bloomington campus is backed with ample free, covered parking behind the building and a covered breezeway.

In addition to employer alliances, the Bloomington campus has around 30 clinical sites in the Twin Cities that are focused on geriatrics, acute care, long-term care, transitional care and mental health.

For those interested in learning more about the stories that shape Minnesota’s history, we recommend a trip to Historic Fort Snelling, just ten miles and 15 minutes east of campus.

A covered breezeway connects the five-level parking ramp to the building, perfect for rainy days and the cold winter months.

  • Is it Rasmussen College or Rasmussen University?

In 2020, Rasmussen College became Rasmussen University to address the shifts we’ve made as an institution to provide innovative programs and workforce-ready education to help our students and graduates navigate a rapidly changing market. Our name changed, but our institution mission remains the same.
